Police arrested a man after they say he broke into a home where a family was sleeping.
The Smyth County Sheriff's Department said it happened around 6:50 a.m. Sunday on Lick Skillet Road in the Saltville area.
The family told police they were woken up by the sound of 33-year old Justin Olinger of Glade Spring busting in their door.
Police said there was a fight and then Olinger left.
He was found at a neighboring house and was arrested.
He faces multiple charges including breaking and entering and carrying a concealed weapon as a convicted felon.
