A section of a busy road between Johnson City and Elizabethton is closed Monday morning.
Emergency officials in Carter County tell say a portion of Milligan Highway is closed.
The road is blocked from Okalona Road, near Milligan Grocery, to Buffalo Creek Road, which is near Milligan College.
Crews are mopping up a structure fire in the area.
