GREENEVILLE, Tenn. -

The Greeneville Festival of Trees at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center reports a large turnout for its annual event.

News 5 learned, during the 11 days of this year's silent auction, more than 3,500 guests viewed the trees, wreaths, arrangements and other displays.

Organizers say more than $7,600 were brought in through the auction and will be split equally between the Greeneville-Greene County Community Ministries Food Bank and the Niswonger Performing Arts Center.

The 12th annual event ended November 21.
