One person dead after crash on Highway 394

One person is dead after a crash in Sullivan County.
It happened around 6:00 p.m. Thursday night on Highway 394 near Food Country.
Police told our crews what they believe happened.
"A few minutes before 6 o’clock this evening a black Ford pickup truck traveling eastbound on 394 near mile marker 6 crossed over the center and struck a 2005 silver Toyota Corrola that was westbound,” says Lt. Glenn James of the Bristol, TN police department.
The driver died at the scene; their name has not been released.
The driver of the pick-up truck was transported to Bristol Regional Medical Center.
His conditions are unknown at this time.
