Officers say man arrested after almost hitting patrol car

Suspect now faces drug charges

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Tenn. -

Authorities say a traffic stop turned into a drug bust.

Washington County, Tennessee Sheriff Ed Graybeal says they arrested Charles J. Clark after he almost his a deputy's patrol car.

After pulling him over, officers say Clark acted nervous and he looked as if he was hiding something under the seat.

Authorities say they used a K-9 search of his vehicle and found two small baggies that tested positive as meth.

They tell us Clark is out on bond.
