Should Nuclear Fuel Services get a license renewal? And have all safety concerns been addressed? That's what will be discussed Thursday night in Unicoi County.
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff will be meeting to discuss a 25 year extension of the operating license for the Nuclear Fuel Services facility in Erwin, Tennessee.
The meeting is scheduled to run Thursday night from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Unicoi County courthouse.
It is open to the public and those attending are invited to ask The NRC staff questions.
