BRISTOL, Tenn./Va. -

For the past ten years, National Public Radio's Mountain Stage show has visited the Paramount Theatre in Bristol for a taping of a couple of shows each year.

This year they will return on October 7. It was announced Thursday morning that Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member Wanda Jackson and Country Music Hall of Fame member Connie Smith will headline the show.

Singer-songwriter JD McPherson will also appear on the show.

We'll have more on the announcement coming up tonight on News 5 WCYB.
