Shoppers at an IKEA in Toronto were shocked to find a monkey wearing a winter coat on the loose in the parking lot.
The primate caused quite a stir, and became a social media sensation, before it was captured by security Sunday afternoon, the CBC reported.
According to the Toronto Star, the monkey somehow escaped from a crate inside a car parked at the store.
Shoppers described the 7-month-old monkey as "agitated," and it is now in the custody of animal services.
According to CP24, the monkey's owner was fined $240 for having a prohibited animal.
