Mayor's discrimination suit against town dropped
A decision has been made a discrimination case between the mayor of Bluff City, Irene Wells, and the town.
Wells filed a complaint with the Tennessee Human Rights Commission in 2011, claiming she was being treated unfairly because she is black.
We learned Wednesday that the Tennessee Human Rights Commission has dismissed the case following an investigation into the complaint.
