Man hit by train

BRISTOL, Tenn. -

A man is in the hospital after being hit by a train.

Bristol, Tennessee police tell us the accident happened about 3:00 Sunday afternoon.

50-year-old Paul Goodman was hit by a Norfolk Southern train near the intersection of Melrose and 4th street.

Witnesses tell police Goodman was walking along the tracks when he was hit.

Bristol, Tennessee Police have charged Goodman with criminal trespassing.
