Man charged with copper theft

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -

A man is facing charges after Johnson City police say he was stealing copper Monday morning.

57-year-old Arnold Ebalo is charged with theft of property, vandalism and aggravated criminal trespassing.

Police say they got a call just after midnight this morning to Wilson Avenue. They believe Ebalo was taking copper out of the heat pumps at that business.
