Man charged with back-to-back crimes

BRISTOL, Tenn. -

Bristol, Tennessee police arrested a man they robbed a store and attempted to steal a car.

Geoffrey Billips is in the Sullivan County jail and charged with attempted aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery.

Police say he took money from Check into Cash on Volunteer Parkway and was also the suspect in an attempted carjacking at Ed's Pizza on Thursday night.
