An investigation into a missing couple leads Wise County Officers to human remains.
The Wise County Sheriff's Office and Virginia State Police began searching for a missing Wise County couple this week.
A tip led officers to a home at 8320 Crabtree Road after 9:00 Thursday night.
That’s where officers say they found human remains buried in a shallow grave.
Police charged 39-year-old Mark Edward Coleman with two counts of non-capital murder.
He’s in the Duffield Regional Jail without bond.
The remains have not yet been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
