Kingsport police say it didn't take them long to find a suspect in an early morning aggravated robbery.

The robbery happened just after 2:00 Thursday morning at Sunoco on Lynn Garden Drive. Officers say they found 28-year-old Alexis Yates jogging not far from the scene with a wad of cash in the crotch of her jogging pants.

The clerk told police Yates came in with a ski mask over her face and had something in her hoodie pocket she claimed was a gun. The clerk said Yates demanded cash and left the store on foot.

Police say the clerk was able to identify Yates. She's charged with aggravated robbery and is in Kingsport's jail. Yates is expected to be arraigned Thursday.
