Kingsport Police warning about car burglaries

KINGSPORT, Tenn. -

There's a warning for holiday shoppers after a rash of car break-ins.

Surveillance video at Johnny Brusco's restaurant caught a man rummaging through cars in the parking lot and taking things from them on December 7th. If you have any information about those break-ins please call the Kingsport Police Department.

Detectives tell us car break-ins have increased over the past few weeks inside city limits.

They say simply locking your doors could prevent you from becoming a victim.
