King University student Jenson Lavallee had the chance of a lifetime.
The University says he spent a semester studying abroad at the renowned Moscow Art Theatre in Russia. They say he was one of nearly 20 students selected from a variety of schools for the study program.
Lavallee is a senior Theatre major. He says he became fascinated with Russia while working with a director at the Barter Theatre in Abingdon.
Lavallee's training in Moscow included sessions in stage movement, acrobatics, and Russian language. The students in the program also learned about the Russian culture. Lavallee says he's been able to use the training and techniques he learned overseas in King's Theatre program.
