Johnson City man charged with vandalism, theft

A Johnson City man was arrested in connection with vandalism and theft.
Johnson City Police arrested 20-year-old Devonte Morrison after witnesses saw him running from a coin operated machine that seemed to be damaged at Food City on Roan Street.
Morrison admitted to throwing a fire extinguisher through the window of the gas station.
He has been charged with two counts of vandalism, and one count of theft of property under five hundred dollars.
Morrison is being held in The Washington County Detention Center on a twenty one thousand dollar bond.
