Johnson City man is in jail after police say he allegedly strangled his wife.
Johnson City police say 53-year old Edward L. Foushee is charged with aggravated assault.
Saturday evening police were called to a home on Broyles Drive.
According to the report, Foushee ran from the scene, but police were able to catch and arrest him.
Foushee is expected in court on Monday.
