Immigrant advocacy group holds forum on reform
The Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition is holding a statewide forum on immigration reform.
The immigrant advocacy group has made comprehensive reform a top priority since its inception 10 years ago.
The forum takes place at 6 p.m. Saturday at Glencliff High School in Nashville. It will focus on the issues surrounding reform. Immigrants also will share their stories.
Sponsors of the event include the American Civil Liberties Union of Tennessee, Clergy for Tolerance and Tennessee State Conference of the NAACP.
