Four people were indicted by a Russell County Grand Jury after an investigation into the Cumberland Plateau Planning District Commission and the Cumberland Plateau Regional Housing Authority.

Louis Porter Ballenberger II, Patricia Dickenson Gray and Douglas Lee Rasnake are facing charges. They all worked for the agencies.

Roger Lewis Puckett, with Puckett Construction was also indicted.

The charges involve money laundering, fraud and forgery, among others.

In a very lengthy special grand jury report, investigators say the agencies mishandled millions of dollars worth of government-funded projects.
