Hobby show will benefit Children's Miracle Network hospitals
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals will benefit this weekend from an annual fundraiser involving the sale of collectibles.
In a press release, Wellmont Health System says The Toys, Comic Books, Sports Cards and Collectibles Hobby Show will be held from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at the Appalachian Fairgrounds. Vendors can purchase a table for $25 or three for $60.
Admission is $3. Children 12 and younger are admitted for free.
Proceeds from the admissions, table sales and refreshments sold at the event will be donated to Children's Miracle Network.
Wellmont Health System has been the regional affiliate of Children's Miracle Network since 1987. Wellmont Foundation uses funds donated locally to Children's Miracle Network to purchase state-of-the-art equipment for Wellmont's pediatric and neonatal intensive care programs and emergency departments and to support community education programs.
