Hearing scheduled for Virginia man charged with involuntary manslaughter — Thomas Burke

A Castlewood, Virginia man was scheduled for preliminary hearing this morning at nine o'clock, that hearing has been postponed. He's charged in the death of a motorcycle rider.

Russell County Commonwealth's attorney Brian Patton tells us Thomas Edward Burke is charged with aggravated involuntary manslaughter, along with other charges.

Virginia State Police say Burke was driving a dump truck that collided with a group of motorcycle riders on State Route 71, in Russell County.

The collision resulted in the death of Lester Mullins.
