Hawkins County murder suspect arrested in Florida

A man wanted in connection with a murder in Hawkins County is found in Florida.

Hawkins County Sheriff Ronnie Lawson says the U.S Marshals Service arrested Randy Harr in a wooded area in Gainsville, Florida Thursday afternoon. Harr faces first degree murder, aggravated burglary and aggravated arson charges connected to the death of 27-year-old Christopher Varalli. 

Sheriff Lawson says Varalli was shot and poisoned with cyanide at his George Allen Road home on March 20.

No further information has been released on Harr's arrest.

A second suspect, Lisa Harr, is still wanted by authorities on charges of tampering with evidence and hindering officers from apprehending another person.
