JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -

Students at East Tennessee State University had reason to celebrate on Saturday.

More than 1,400 students graduated Saturday.

The new graduates and their families celebrated several years of hard work.

Two Commencement exercises took place Saturday.

James Rogers, chairman of the board and CEO of Eastman Chemical Company was the guest speaker at 10 a.m.

ETSU’s Dr. Allan Forsman delivered the address at the 2 p.m. ceremony.
