Several people hit by a car during Trail Days

We've learned several people have been injured during Trail Days in Damascus, Virginia.

Republican candidate for The U.S. Senate, George Allen, is making a stop in Marion, Virginia Thursday morning.

Allen will be looking at recent improvements in the downtown area beginning at nine o'clock Thursday morning.

Allen will face Democrat candidate Tim Kaine in the November election.
