Former sheriff's trial goes to jury

The trial of former Unicoi County sheriff Kent Harris is now in the hands of the jury.

They'll decide whether he committed theft or not. The case involves vehicles for the sheriff's department and training for search and rescue bloodhounds, as well as how Harris paid for that training.

Harris took the stand Thursday in his own defense saying that he did nothing wrong.
