A former Wytheville officer is now facing a felony charge.
According to authorities, Joseph Posillico was a police officer for Wytheville for five years before he opened Joe's Pizzeria in downtown Wytheville last January.
They say Lesa C. Callahan took out an arrest warrant against him claiming after she was unable to cash a $500 payroll check written last May by Posillico because of insufficient funds.
In June, he was convicted of failing to collect or account for taxes, a misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail.
The case was sent to a grand jury on December 3, 2012. They'll meet again on January 22nd.
