Food donations accepted for United Way Peacock Christmas tree

The United Way Peacock Christmas tree, sponsored by the Virginia Highlands United Way, still has space for donations.  That tree is located at the Fields-Penn House in Abingdon, Virginia.
People who want to help can donate food for people and animals in need until January sixth.
These are the items needed:

*Peanut butter (16 oz)
Canned Soups
Cereal
Macaroni & Cheese (boxed)
Canned Vegetables and *Canned Fruit
Canned or dried beans
Pasta and Canned Pasta sauce
Rice (Box or bag)
*Fruit Juice (Plastic bottles)
*Canned tuna, ham, chicken, turkey or beef
*Large bags of Cat or Dog Food
