Fire shuts down El Patio in Bristol, Virginia

BRISTOL, Va. -

Fire crews were called to El Patio at Exit 7 in Bristol, Virginia after smoke was seen coming from a restroom.

The call came in just after 7:00.

Bristol, Virginia Fire Chief J.C. Bolling tells us an exhaust fan had a short, causing a small fire in between the ceiling and the roof.

The restaurant only had minor damage, but closed for the rest of the evening.

Chief Bolling says El Patio should be back open Monday.
