A local legend celebrated his 86th birthday Saturday. Doctor Ralph Stanley celebrated at the Heartwood in Abingdon, VA. There was dinner, music, and entertainment by various artists. We spoke with Dr. Stanley who said he was very grateful for the party. "I'm proud of it, I appreciate all of the people that got together and planned this out and everybody that had any part it in. I feel proud and it couldn't be better," says Dr. Stanley.
