Rescue crews recovered the body of a missing boater Sunday evening.
The body of 60-year-old Michael W. Jones of Jonesborough, TN was recovered from the river, after TWRA says his boat capsized Saturday morning.
We've learned crews were called to the Nolichucky River just before 11:00 Saturday morning.
According to a press release from The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, a flat bottom boat with two adults and three children on board capsized shortly after launching on AJ Willis road.
We’re told all of the children had live jackets on , but it's not clear if the adults were wearing them.
