Flooding continues in Smyth, Tazewell, Russell, Washington, and Johnson Counties

The National Weather Service tells News 5 Saltville has been hit by flash flooding from this afternoon's storms. Other areas have also reported flooding.

A Kingsport man was arrested last night for driving under the influence.

Kingsport Police tell us 19-year-old Zachariah Corum drove his car through the concrete barriers of Courtesy Chevrolet on East Stone Drive, and then crashed into the building.

It happened around 11:30 last night. That crash caused a rupture in a gas line, resulting in traffic being rerouted.

Corum was charged with driving under the influence.
