Country Club of Bristol goes semi-private
The Country Club of Bristol (The Club), which has a history that spans almost 120 years, will reach another milestone in its storied history when it becomes a semi-private operation on May 1.
Transitioning to a semi-private club means that non-members will have the opportunity to play rounds at The Club’s golf course, beginning May 1. Non-members who wish to play will need to contact The Club to reserve a tee time.
A spokesman in the pro shop told WCYB that the cost for a round of golf including a cart will be $50.00.
The tennis and fitness facilities, as well as the swimming pool, will continue to operate for members-only use.
“We are excited to make our beautiful and challenging 18-hole course available to the general public,” says owner Brent Roswall. “We look forward to seeing many golfers who are new to our course enjoy its great play.”
The restructuring of Club operations has made new limited-time membership opportunities available to individuals and families. Membership information and rates can be obtained by calling The Club at 423-652-1700.
