GREENEVILLE, Tenn. -

A 20,000 square foot kid’s consignment sale is raising big money for a local children's center.

The Asbury Child Enrichment Center in Greenville puts on the sale twice every year. We found out more than 300,000 kids' items are for sale, like clothes and toys.

Asbury Child Enrichment Center's director, Erin Rudd, said the sale brings in thousands of shoppers every year, and the center usually walks away with about $23,000.

"The important thing with children is to have equipment and art supplies and playground gross motor play for them, so it allows us to keep renovating our facility," Rudd told News 5.

The sale is at the old Magnavox plant off Snapps Ferry Road in Greeneville. The consignment sale is open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. through Friday, and from 8:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

We're also told Friday and Saturday, everything is half price.
