ERWIN, Tenn. -

Friends and neighbors of the Hughes family gathered near their home Monday night for a candlelight vigil in their memory.

Erwin Police say Clyde Hughes killed his wife Bridget and their two children, Whitney and Austin, before turning the gun on himself Saturday.

Those holding candles say it's a symbol of them coming together in a time of tragedy.

Counselors will be at Whitney's and Austin's schools today.
