An old building in downtown Bristol could soon have a new use.
The Bristol, Virginia City Council voted to pursue a grant aimed at attracting a developer to revitalize the vacant Executive Plaza.
We've learned city leaders hope to turn the building into a boutique hotel and restaurant.
If the city is approved for the grant, it will require a 100 percent match from local dollars.
City manager Dewey Cashwell says they have three potential investors interested in the property.
