BRISTOL, Tenn./Va. -

The famous Bristol sign will be filled with pink lights during the entire month of October for breast cancer awareness.

The pink light bulbs are for sale as part of a fundraiser. We've learned the money raised will stay local and benefit the Wellmont Cancer Institute and the Tri-Cities Susan G. Komen For The Cure.

Each bulb is $20.1,300 pink bulbs will be put in the sign.

The Bristol sign will change colors October 1 at 7:30 p.m.

There's also a concert benefitting breast cancer awareness on October 21.

The event, called Real Women Pick Pink, features live music throughout downtown Bristol.

Artists include Kelly Willis & Bruce Robinson, Jill Andrews, My New Favorites, The Broadcast and Annie Robinette.
