Bill concerning youth concussions is killed in Virginia House

The Virginia House of Delegates has killed a bill that would require youth sports programs to adopt policies for dealing with concussions.
The House voted to send the bill to its Courts of Justice Committee, but that committee will not meet again before Saturday's scheduled adjournment.
A democratic senator sponsored the bill to address, what he says, is a growing problem with concussions in youth sports.
However, critics say the bill could subject volunteer coaches to liability for players' head injuries.
