ABINGDON, Va. -

The suspect in an armed robbery was arrested this morning in Russell County, Virginia.

Deputies arrested 24-year-old Walter Adam Burke of Lebanon, Virginia. He's charged with armed robbery, two counts of abduction and two counts of using a gun in a felony.

Abingdon police believe he robbed a Subway in Abingdon off of exit 14 Monday evening.

He's now in the Abingdon regional jail without bond.

A man presented a marriage certificate to visit someone in a detention center but police say he's now facing charges because the certificate was fake.
