Abingdon murder case moves to grand jury
There are new facts this evening in an Abingdon murder case. A preliminary hearing was held Wednesday for Coty Young and Stephanie Molino.
Both are charged with first degree murder.
We've learned the case is now in the hands of a grand jury.
Both are charged in the murders of Karen McKibben and Donald Heath. Their bodies were discovered back in January 2012.
McKibben was found in her burned home in Abingdon, while Heath's body was discovered in a rural area of Sullivan County, Tennessee.
The grand jury will meet on January 22.
Both Young and Molino are being held without bond at the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail.
