Virginia Receives Energy Efficiency Grant

$2.9 Million From The U.S. Department Of Energy

Virginia's getting nearly $2.9 million to help make homes more energy efficient.

The money is from the U.S. Department of Energy.

Virginia Senators Mark Warner and Jim Webb say the grant's goal is to establish Virginia and three other states as models for retrofitting homes to make them more efficient.

They hope to lower energy bills, create jobs and help businesses.
