Phillips Convicted In Deadly Johnson City Street Racing Crash
POSTED: 8:54 am EDT September 3, 2010UPDATED: 8:55 am EDT September 3, 2010David Phillips, one of the men convicted in a high profile street racing crash in Johnson City, is scheduled to be back in court today.Judge Robert Cupp is calling Phillips back to fix a clerical error in the original paperwork. The appeals court caught the mistake. The wrong felony is listed for one of Phillips' convictions.Even though it carries one less year in prison it does not change his time behind bars because the sentences are being served concurrently.
