115,000 Virginia motorists can expect car problems
AAA Mid-Atlantic predicts nearly 115,000 motorists in Virginia will need help with vehicle breakdowns this summer.
AAA Mid-Atlantic manager of public and government affairs Martha Mitchell Meade says motorists can avoid many of these headaches with basic car maintenance, such as checking batteries, coolant levels and tire inflation and wear.
AAA also encourages motorists to carry emergency roadside kits.
The motor club says more than 8 million motorists nationwide can expect to get stranded on the road through Labor Day.
