A domestic disturbance call landed a Johnson City man in jail accused of neglecting four children on Monday evening.
Joseph Perkey was arrested Monday night just before 10:30. Officers say they were called to a Timberlake Road apartment.
Investigators tell News 5 that Perkey told them he had consumed a half pint of vodka and two beers that evening.
We've learned he was the sole caretaker for four children aged five and younger.
Officers say Perkey was too impaired to provide proper care for the children. He was arrested and charged with child neglect.
