Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx is the latest in a long list of celebrities who have acted heroically outside the spotlight, helping rescue the driver of a burning pickup truck outside his California home.

Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx is the latest in a long list of celebrities who have acted heroically outside the spotlight, reportedly helping rescue the driver of a burning pickup truck outside the gate to his Hidden Valley, California, home on Monday night. TMZ.com reported that Foxx ran to the scene of the rollover accident, unbuckled the trapped driver and dragged him away from the burning vehicle. The driver, who was later arrested on a DUI charge, suffered injuries to his head, neck and chest and was transported to a local hospital.
