One constant of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" has been the host's ongoing "feud" with Matt Damon.

Every night, Kimmel apologizes for bumping Damon off the show because "we ran out of time."

Damon got some revenge years ago, but until Thursday was never an official guest on Kimmel's show. Last night, Damon turned the tables on Kimmel by tying him up and taking over as host.

Thus began what was essentially a star-studded roast of Kimmel, with Damon as the emcee. It was also a mini-"Good Will Hunting" reunion when Robin Williams showed up to help Damon with his monologue.

Cue card guy Ben Affleck, however, just couldn't betray Kimmel.

Meanwhile, Damon replaced sidekick Guillermo and band leader Cleto Escobedo III with Andy Garcia and Sheryl Crow (who debuted a new song on the show).

Guests like Nicole Kidman (a first-time Kimmel guest), Gary Oldman, Amy Adams and Demi Moore told Damon how much they despised Kimmel.

But it wouldn't have been true revenge unless Kimmel's ex Sarah Silverman showed up.

It was definitely a memorable hour of television, and Kimmel and Damon deserve some kind of award for keeping the "feud" going for a decade.
