Former "Harry Potter" stars Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe are considering new roles.
According to Variety, Watson is in very early talks to portray Cinderella in a live action adaptation from Disney. Kenneth Branagh is on board to direct the project, which will also feature Cate Blanchett as the evil stepmother.
Watson isn't a lock for those glass slippers, but it looks like Disney is hoping to make a casting decision soon. Variety reports that the studio would like to begin production at some point this fall, aiming for a 2014 release.
Radcliffe, meanwhile, is wrapping up negotiations to star in another adaptation of Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein." (The 1994 "Frankenstein," funnily enough, was adapted by "Cinderella" director Branagh.)
The former "Potter" lead would play Igor in the gothic film, which will reportedly be directed by Paul McGuigan ("Push," "Lucky Number Slevin"). Production on "Frankenstein" is expected to begin in the fall.
