Jordan Conigliaro
WCYB Sports Director, Jordan Conigliaro joined the News 5 Sports Team from WVVA-TV in Bluefield, West Virginia. A native of Scranton, Pennsylvania, Jordan is a graduate of Shippensburg University. While in college, Jordan worked for the University television station and newspaper, and also interned for TV stations in Harrisburg and Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. In addition, he covered sports for the Carlisle Sentinel during his senior year at Shippensburg.
After graduation, Jordan worked for WHP-TV in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, for a year before joining WVVA-TV in Bluefield as a sports anchor and reporter. He joined the News 5 Sports Team in June, 2008. And, yes, baseball fans, Jordan is a member of that Conigliaro sports family--the former Red Sox outfielder, Tony Conigliaro, is a cousin. |
Leah Rubertino
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Leah got her degree in TV Broadcasting from the University of La Verne, in California. While in college, she interned with stations in Los Angeles, Palm Springs, and also in Fayetteville, Arkansas. After graduation, Leah headed off to South Dakota where she worked in both radio and tv.
After co-hosting a morning show on radio and covering sports for KOTA-TV in the afternoon for two years, Leah joined the News 5 Sports Team in September, 2008 as Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter. |
