Hunter Shot

Tennessee State Wildlife officers are investigating a shooting after a man said he was accidentally shot by a fellow hunter.

Daryl Lloyd Wilson told Carter County Sheriff's deputies he was hunting Sunday morning when a shotgun blast peppered his right side.

Wilson says the hunter who shot him went for help, but never returned.

The man's described as about 6'1" and slender with a medium length gray beard.
