Meteorologist Emily Sutton received dual degrees in Atmospheric Science and Convergence Journalism from the University of Missouri at Columbia.  While still in college, she shot stories and reported for the NBC affiliate in Columbia, KOMU-TV.  She also worked as an agricultural forecaster and observer for the National Weather Service and volunteered as a storm spotter on the Mizzou Storm Chase Team.  Emily worked as a meteorologist at KMIZ and KZOU-TV, the ABC and Fox stations in Columbia, for nearly a year before joining WCYB as weekend meteorologist.  Emily is originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.
